Since I'm an art slut, the comics I usually get come out infrequently due to artist tardiness. So, it's bizarre to follow an actual monthly comic. I missed the last issue thinking it couldn't have possibly come out four weeks after the previous.

But anyhoo, about the book... it's a big fight scene, the stakes are elevated, and it looks to be leading to something 60+ issues in the making. I only got into this book recently, but I'll be picking up the trades to catch up.

This Paul Green fellow loves to copy-and-paste drawings from one panel to the next, and sticks a little too close to J. Scott Campbell for comfort - but the dude's got some serious skills.

Pearson creates such an amazing sense of space. You really can tell where all the characters are in relation to each other. I've never seen another comic quite like it in that regard. Best "action movie" (via comic book) I've seen in a while.

A nice change of pace from the last couple of issues (or has it been the entire series?), the near constant movement, action, experimentation, and surreality - Frank sits on a couch and has a conversation. The bizzare events of Frank going into space, Joe having her mind merged with Luna, Adam having his brain sucked out, and the Atomics saving the universe, seem to have finally built to something intentional. Adam has, for all intents and purposes, brain damage, and he can only look on as Frank bangs his grilfriend. Frank knows Adam got a raw deal and is trying to make things right. Now that's drama.
